We will have bus evacuation drills Tuesday, October 23rd in the morning. Please
encourage your student to dress appropriately to jump off the back of the bus!

I am also looking forward to welcoming the new inductees of National Honor Society
on Thursday,October 25 at 6:30pm. It is always a special night.

Class Dues – Online Payment Option
We have added a new online payment option through the Town’s online payment vendor,
City Hall Systems for the payment of Class Dues.  In addition to having the option to
provide your payments by mail or in person, you can now go online at
https://epay.cityhallsystems.com
and select the Town of Ashland.  Then select “Schools” on the menu on the left hand side
of the screen.  Then select “Class Dues” and complete the information required to submit
your payment.  There will also be a direct link on the school’s website. For each payment
that is due, you can either pay the minimum due or a greater amount if you wish.    There is
a convenience fee associated with use of the online site. ACH (electronic checks) payments
are $0.50 per checkout and credit/debit card payments are charged 2.95% ($1 minimum)
of the amount charged. The site accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
If you have any questions regarding how to use the new online site or to make a payment
over the phone, you can contact City Hall Systems’ call center at (508) 381-5455.

A reminder about the Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey:
On Tuesday, October 30 we will administer the Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey to all students at Ashland High School.  This anonymous survey, administered every two years, cover many topics including alcohol, tobacco and other drug use; violence and safety; nutrition and physical activity; sexual behaviors; online behaviors; mental health; and protective factors. We use this data to help our district develop and enhance its health education and prevention services. Please see the attached letters for more information:

This survey is being administered by Framingham State University as part of a needs assessment. We are looking at the level of need in the MetroWest region for a proposed Family and Educator Resource Center that would provide supports for families and educators to learn more about special education, disabilities, gifted education, and related topics. Thank you for sharing your perspective with us in this survey!

Check out the Parent Flyers  to see what is going on around the schools and town!
