This anonymous survey, administered every two years, cover many topics including alcohol, tobacco and other drug use; violence and safety; nutrition and physical activity; sexual behaviors; online behaviors; mental health; and protective factors. We use this data to help our district develop and enhance its health education and prevention services. Please see the attached letters for more information:

On Wednesday members of the Class of 2019 will have their traditional Halloween parade.  Seniors dress in costume for the parade but are expected to change afterwards into regular clothes.  Other students should not wear costumes to school.

It's hard to believe but Term 1 will be over in two short weeks!  The term ends on November 9 and grades will be available to students on Friday, November 16.

This survey is being administered by Framingham State University as part of a needs assessment. We are looking at the level of need in the MetroWest region for a proposed Family and Educator Resource Center that would provide supports for families and educators to learn more about special education, disabilities, gifted education, and related topics. Thank you for sharing your perspective with us in this survey!

Good afternoon and happy Homecoming!

It was a fun-filled Spirit Week at AHS which ended with our annual Homecoming Pep Rally.  All of the athletic teams as well as the clubs and classes showcased their accomplishments at the rally and there was a lot of fun as well.  Classes competed in potato-sack & 3-legged races, a tug-of-war, and the traditional teacher-student team chair races.  There was a lot of energy in the gym!  It was fun to end the rally with a whole school picture that hopefully be the cover of this year's yearbook.  I am looking forward to seeing lots of fans at this afternoon's athletic events and the homecoming tailgate/bbq at 5pm in back of the school.

MCAS scores were mailed on Wednesday so should arrive soon if they have not already.  Please feel free to reach out if you have questions or did not receive your child's score report.  All current juniors took the English and math MCAS last spring as well as any student taking biology. The AHS report card will be posted on the website shortly and the accountability letter shares more information about the results from a district standpoint.

A reminder that the new online store run the Clocker Club closes on 10/14!
