October 26, 2018

Good afternoon,

Last night was a beautiful ceremony inducting the newest members of the AHS Socios Chapter of National Honor Society.  Congratulations to all of the new members!

A reminder about the Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey:
On Tuesday, October 30 we will administer the Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey to all students at Ashland High School.  We will have an abbreviated schedule.  All classes will meet.
This anonymous survey, administered every two years, cover many topics including alcohol, tobacco and other drug use; violence and safety; nutrition and physical activity; sexual behaviors; online behaviors; mental health; and protective factors. We use this data to help our district develop and enhance its health education and prevention services. Please see the attached letters for more information:

On Wednesday members of the Class of 2019 will have their traditional Halloween parade.  Seniors dress in costume for the parade but are expected to change afterwards into regular clothes.  Other students should not wear costumes to school.

It's hard to believe but Term 1 will be over in two short weeks!  The term ends on November 9 and grades will be available to students on Friday, November 16.
